No Thank You

Saraha (in the 8th Century living in India) who is credited with originating the teachings of Mahamudra with three famous Dohas. Saraha met a an arrow-maker and learned Mahamudra from her . He left his position of head Bramin of the King's and began living with the arrow-maker. Then the people asked him to return to his post, but rejected the offer with the People's Doha. Then the queen asked Saraha to return and he rejected her offer with the Queen's doha, and finally the King asked him to return and he rejected his offer with the King's Doha.

Each of these spiritual songs is entirely different and lays out the principles of Mahamudra. Thrangu Rinpoche has given a commentary on each of these Dohas showing how they relate to modern Mahamudra practice. Rinpoche's commentary on the Queen's Doha is being readied to be published by Wisdom publications.

Translation by Erik Pema Kunsang. This is an audio CD in the MP3 format. It should work on all computers and most modern CD players. If it doesn't work on your player, you can return the CD.
